Silverline Security
project time: 4 months
Fun Fact: This was the best time I ever had working on a sales tracker. I remember putting in a 96 hour work week because I was so engaged.Silverhome Sales Tracker
After working at Silverline for a few weeks, the owner came to me about creating a backend sales tracking system for the company's sales reps to utilize during their summer season. His only prerequisite was that it had to run on Salesforce and he gave me a deadline of 12 weeks. I was so excited to get an amazing sales tracker for the company! And with such a tight deadline, I did my upmost best to have a wireframe, outline, and site design within 3 weeks with the remaining 9 weeks to code, polish, and revise any changes along the way.
The outline and wireframes easily went through approval process. (Too easy if you ask me...) Three weeks into the coding process, the site became troublesome with the owner and lead developer making continuous changes/additions to the site, leaving me in a very tough position to complete the site and pass it off to the developer within the givin timeline. This was all on top of my day to day tasks.
Working day and night for 7 of the 9 weeks I gave myself for the coding process, I was able to give the lead developer a stable stage of code for him to use in the initial build of the site. I even managed to code a mobile version! I left the company before I was able to see the site launch, but from what I hear, both the developer and the owner were extremely pleased with my work on this project.
