I was 22 when I was hired at Karaktr Media. The job required us to create fake products to feed "free trial" colon cleansing pills. If that wasn't warning enough to quit and find another job, they had me creating upwards to a hundred sites a month. Though work was hell, the one thing I was extremely proud of was Fitzone Nation.

When my boss gave me the opportunity to create the website for our new product, I was psyched to stop doing mundane websites and let my creative side flourish. I spent alot of time focusing on verbage, statistics of user browsers, grids, etc.

My hardwork paid off, and the company was able transition from the colon cleansing, get rich quick business model, to something more stable.
